About the Item

This antique Chondoresque carpet dates from the 19th century and is a rare piece reflecting a rich historical and cultural heritage. In the center of the carpet, there are two large octagonal motifs placed symmetrically to each other. These motifs are decorated with complex geometric patterns dominated by blue and red colors. The white and blue curved patterns inside the octagons add depth and movement to the carpet. The edge borders of the carpet are surrounded by floral and geometric patterns embroidered in white and black colors on a red background. There are tassels at the ends of the carpet. This carpet attracts attention with both its aesthetic and historical value and is a unique piece for collectors and antique lovers. Chondoresque rugs are hand-woven and produced using high-quality wool and are known for their durability and longevity. This rare piece is the perfect choice to add elegance and history to your space.
