A very graphic tribal Kilim composed of two joined panels each containing an array of polychrome vertical stripes of various widths. The result is a wool flat-weave with a mirror image pattern having a central stripe that is considerably wider than the others. What makes this example rather unique is the richness of the individual colors, obtained from natural dyes, as well the generous width of the vertical stripes.
