This antique Kilim has been woven to perfection on looms of master weavers of Caucasia in the 1920s. The design features a repeat motif pattern that has been woven by hand to create this all-over design. Red, cream and blue make up the main colours of the palette in this piece.
Both the colour and design make this piece the perfect accent rug for any room. Kilim rugs are flat-woven and so have no pile making them suitable for any room in your home.
Constructed with the finest hand-spun wool, dyed with organic dyeing techniques. Woven with the kelim technique which is a flat-weave method that has been used for generations because of the hardwearing pieces that it produces.
The colours have retained their vibrancy, despite the age of this piece. The quality wools found in traditional oriental rugs make them durable and sure to last.
