About the Item

This is a very fine example of weaving from the Qashquai people of the Caucusus . Handwoven in wool with a myriad of lozenge shaped floating motifs and a resplendant white border. This piece has great versatility and would compliment any room on the floor or as a wall hanging . The skill of the weaver is evident along with the quality of the dyes used.
