Unique Tribal Caucasian Design but Woven in the Northwest Heriz/Meshkin Region with Village Dogs of Protection! Size: 3.6 x 8.7 Age: Antique, C. 1940's Pile: Low/Med pile throughout with wonderful age-related wear and patina. Great condition for age! This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available. Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces - irregularities, ancient old repairs/touch-ups, and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects. Always recommend a high-quality custom-cut pad for any and all rugs; these pads are made for hand-knotted rugs. They create a body and support the knots of the rug, as well as prevent it from slipping and sliding. This rug is also available with a custom cut pad (sold separately).
