About the Item

This Afghan rug is a work of contemporary art made with a technique of ancient weaving: the decoration draws inspiration from the so-called "tiger" rugs because they reproduce the mantle of the tiger. Mighty, courageous, indomitable, the tiger is a symbol that according to ancient Asian beliefs is synonymous with rebirth, strength and greatness. Knotted carpet in mountain sheep wool, high quality wool and dirt repellent. Sun-dried wool that gives the carpet a unique shine. The carpet processing is entirely by hand from the coloring of the wool to the final shaving, which makes the carpet a unique and non-repeatable piece.
