About the Item
An antique Ersari Turkmen main carpet from Northern Afghanistan. This fine carpet has three rows of eight large guls with a diamond shaped minor gul. The colours in this carpet are truly outstanding and the images do not do them justice.
The carpet retains its original long kilim ends and the wide over bound side finishes. The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. It has been hand washed and would be suitable for normal domestic use such as a dining room or a living room.
Origin: Ersari Turkmen Tribe, Afghanistan
