Circa 1900/20
The rug is of a typical design from a Northern Afghan Sulyman village, the colour is a warm madder red and the rug has excellent wool
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile, slightly lower in places The wool is excellent and very soft as you would expect in a quality Afghan rug
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display
