Circa 1880
A scarce and colourful Baluch rug, the central panel is of the well known 'tile' design Other design elements are found in Afghan Sistan Baluch 'Seh (Three) Mihrab' prayer rugs
The rug is in good condition with even wear, and good pile, with soft glossy wool The rug retains it original kilim ends with weft work decoration
The rug is ready for use or display
The rug is suitable for light domestic use
