Hand knotted in quality wool, this 6x12 antique Khotan rug originates from Turkestan circa 1920-1930. This muted drawing prevails in delicious tones of beige-brown and golden beautifully complementing the geometric pattern. While the field appears serene and sober, the border stands crisp in a dark brown colorway for an added dimension to imagination, with an impossible subtle green accent to the pomegranate pattern for added collectibility. Existing in healthy condition for its age and lineage, an exceptional piece well suited for entryways, hallways, corridors, short staircases, gallery spaces and kitchens following a neutral palette.
