A stunning, large antique circa 1920 Mongolian tapestry woven wool blanket with cranes as well as banding at the top and bottom. Vegetable dyed wool weft on cotton warp in shades of brown, black, cream, tan and peach. The birds are beautifully woven into the brown ground. An amazing piece for a collector of textiles. It would be stunning hung on a large wall. Random spots of wear and fraying, see photos and video.
