This antique Persian Malayer rug is a striking example of late 19th to early 20th century village weaving from western Persia, distinguished by its bold geometry and confident presence. The composition centers on a strong, faceted medallion set against a deep indigo field, surrounded by angular floral and tribal motifs that reflect the expressive, hand-drawn character typical of Malayer rugs.
