Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of traditional design and pleasing red colour, the rug is of a scarce very small size
Circa 1900
The rug has a traditional Tekke gul design with 2 rows of 5 guls The rug is well drawn with good rounded guls The border is of the star in octagon design The elem panels at both ends are of a chevron design, the rug also retains the original short ivory kilim end finishes at both ends
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use
