In this listing you will find a stunning Antique Turkmen Chuval - a large floor pillow case, but in this case the backside was removed or it never had it. These rugs are known for their deep, rich red tones and intricate geometric motifs, reflecting Turkmen weaving heritage. It is made with hand-spun wool and natural vegetable dyes. The rugs are highly valued for their fine craftsmanship, durability, and ability to withstand heavy foot traffic. Made in Afghanistan in the 1920s.
The piece is in very good condition.
