About the Item
In this listing you will find a superb Antique kilim hand-woven by Uzbek tribes. The flat-weaving technique makes the rug low-density, flatter, and thinner than most pile rugs. The rug features traditional motifs and vibrant colors, characteristic of Middle Eastern and Central Asian textiles. It features bold, intricate geometric motifs and striped patterns characteristic of tribal weavings, which often carry symbolic meanings related to protection, fertility, and family identity. Estimated age of the kilim is approx. 140 years.
The kilim is in very good condition with some signs of time and use.
When purchased the kilim will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package. If you have any additional questions regarding this piece please feel free to contact me.
Happy shopping!
