About the Item
A beautiful mid 20th century Central Asian Khotan rug with an incredible pattern containing two tall footed vases, potted with exceptionally rendered stylized lotus flowers reaching towards the diamond-form medallion with a flower in the center, all woven in bold crimson, pink and gold vegetable dyed wool, as well as natural undyed brown and cream wool. The border is complementary with a great floral and scrolling vine motif, woven in similarly colored wool.
