This absolutely magnificent modern rug is inspired with the Classic art of Bessarabian modern carpet textures weaving. Absolutely all works of the Bessarabian category are highly decorative, and the majority comprises of floral and nature-related motifs. Moreover, their patterns usually fit within a black or brown tone background, executed so to exhibit depth and multidimensionality of the design. This European-inspired rug embodies the greatest features of the Bessarabian Craft.
Its pitch black field proudly bears an exceptionally ornamental design made up of six radian medallions surrounded by a dense and naturalistic floral pattern. The color palette is expertly match to the general atmosphere of the flat-weave wool rug and includes subtle tones of rose pink, baby blue, forest green, gold, beige, and ivory. Although presently made, the European-inspired Bessarabian rug is thoroughly hand knotted of the finest wool in accordance with old and refined weaving techniques.
