European inspired Bessarabian handmade wool rug by Doris Leslie Blau Size: 9'8" × 11'6" (294 × 350 cm) Although presently made, this modern rug relies on traditional manual workmanship and equally classic design drawn from Eastern Europe. Its entire face is covered in a dense, all-over floral design with six identical decorative medallions. The composition of millefleur is so dynamic that it seems to be in motion - looking at this lush thicket one can almost observe the plants and flowers growing and blooming. As befits a Bessarabian rug, the color palette comprises of many colors which are properly muted not to overwhelm the whole. The combination of beige, camel, rose, rust, moss, forest green and dusty blue exudes a joyful and warm vibe.
