About the Item
This modern carpet was handmade using Tibetan wool, one of the finest natural fibers in the world, because the animals freely graze at very high altitudes. The result is a wool that is resistant and rich in lanolin and here, hand-knotted using ancient Tibetan techniques by skilled artisans in Nepal, produces a final product that is timeless, thanks to its high-quality materials and the modern design by George J. Sowden (who also signed the 36 pieces that make up this limited series.)
