This fine wool area rug is an Antique are rug woven by hand circa 1880. This design features three large central medallions woven on a beige background in accents of blue red and brown. This is then framed by a highly-decorative repeating pattern border. The colour palette and patterns in this sophisticated piece are sure to uplift any space it is introduced into.
Constructed by master weavers using only the finest hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials and techniques used when making this fine wool rug make it the perfect accent rug, suitable for any home or office. This antique carpet is in good condition for its age with a small amount of restoration on the frame of the rug.
