About the Item
These two bold area rugs are handmade Kurdish Kilim rugs woven in the early 21st century, circa 2010. The design features a bold yellow background that has been decorated with accents of red, blue, ivory, and beige accents that make up the symmetrical geometric patterns. This has then been framed by layered indigo and red border that features a repeating pattern design.
The colour palette and design together with making these rugs an excellent accent piece for any home. Easily pair with your modern, vintage or antique furniture. These rugs are currently joint at the fringe, making one long runner. However, they can be separated to make two different area rugs.
These beautiful wool kilims were made with organic hand-spun wool and silk that have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials and flatweave methods make this area rug highly durable and sure to last decades if cared for correctly.
