Hand knotted in wool originating from East Turkestan circa 1890-1900, this antique rug is among the spacious acquisitions we’ve seen from the Khotan rug design family of origin, nearly gallery sized in 6’7x12’10 sporting a very mild wear visible in some of the repeating all-over medallion pattern.
