This is a relatively unusual Afghan format – a runner – with a light brown field supporting eight large, octagonal emblematic tribal guls, with discrete fractional minor guls at the sides. Field edged with triangular turrets and a main skinny border of a meander pinned with stylized palmettes. All wool, moderate/coarse weave, good condition.
