Kilim’s European collection.
On the Design:
Admirers of the craft may note this modern piece is inspired by Armorial carpets and tapestries, as seen in the regal coat-of-arms emblems in the field. The pattern further enjoys a range of animal pictorials in beige and rich brown hues, and especially birds within the teeming botanicals this design enjoys. These dense green and blue floral patterns bring a brilliant detail and immersive grandeur to this work.
Keen eyes will further admire a subtle high-low element in the texture. This marks our unique contribution to this historic style, and represents the first representation of this element in Tudor style. A masterpiece inspired by European kilims, and a spacious large-size rug with vast possibilities. Further enjoys pristine condition as a new flat weave.
