On the Design:
From our beloved “Rez Kilim” collection, a contemporary homage to Turkish and Persian panel-weaving styles, this rug enjoys a play of beige and black stripes in the weft and stitching between the panels (or columns)—with black accents in the horizontal stripes the keen eye will note. Admirers of the craft will appreciate the way the fundamentals of a traditional flatweaving style have been reimagined in an almost impressionistic look at geometry and the subtleties of a Kilim.
