Kilim depicts a masterful play of color and pattern affectionately dubbed “Berlini” for its classic Italian rug sensibilities of inspiration. The subtlety of the orchid green accents in the floral pattern lends a unique sense of movement complementing the elegant hues of gold and green in the motif and trellis patterns—the more forgiving hues further accented by the silk’s natural sheen in kind. Originating from one of our most reputed partner looms in Nepal. The sense of refinement like that of a classic European rug shows in every inch of the rug, though connoisseurs will note the meticulous detail of the trellis patterns in this 8 x 10 scale.
