Hand knotted in a blend of wool and silk, this 5 x 10 transitional rug joins Rug
Kilim’s European rug collection, drawing inspiration from an 18th century rug pattern reimagined in lustrous green medallion patterns subtly travelling the length of this beige-brown piece.
On the design: Affectionately dubbed “Catana” as a nod to the Italian design sensibilities of influence, the silk’s natural luster in this rug creates a light-and-dark look from varied perspectives that dually lends a versatility to the decorative applications of this piece and complements the elegance of movement in the green emblems. The aesthetic is naturally depthful, with a subdued grace playing with this large-size piece’s marriage of a comfortable colorway with an iconic Classic look.
