Kilim, affectionately named for the inspiration hailing from time-honored Toledo rug patterns in hues of gold and pink.
On the design: The play of the rich, regal gold and red hues with the more muted, subtle blue and yellow tones brings out the range of the silk’s natural sheen, itself complementing the sense of movement and length in this mirrored, kaleidoscopic floral pattern and its skillful variations of definition; an achievement in capturing classic European rug sensibilities with modern features.
Custom capable: This 8 x 10 Toledo style rug from the European rug collection features additional stock in alternate sizes and alternate colors, with further custom capabilities also available upon request within 4 months. Hand-knotted in one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in Nepal.
