One such masterpiece is this featured modern Khotan-inspired rug. Connoisseurs may admire this piece with black, gold, taupe, red and pink tones underscore a modern adaptation of the floral pattern with a beautiful range of subtle colors at play in the field. Admirers of the craft will note the repeat is of the rosette medallion—a flower blossom which, in this style, is often associated with the many beauties of life in Khotan, Samarkand, and East Turkestani rugs cultures.
