Navy blue underscores a field of five dragon medallions—four in the field corners surrounding the largest central figure, all depicted soaring among the clouds (meant to honor these mythological creatures as divine omens in traditional Chinese interpretations). Keen eyes will further admire the subtle details at work, from the notes of gold and brown and illustration of depth and dimension in the fretwork border to the look of abrashed striae in the field—all lending to the immersive look of a classic in our contemporary quality.
