Originating from one of our premiere workshops in Nepal, this hand knotted lotus design rug by Rug
Kilim is the latest in our Classic style sub collection, embracing an exceptional European interpretation of Classic eastern symbolism believed to represent rebirth. Both the visual and metaphorical themes of the piece are complemented by a spring-like palet of beige-cold, vibrant green, red, blue, and orange throughout the meticulous field and border motifs, and the subtle abrash of the blue background plays gracefully off the colors and muted outlines of the curvilinear floral patterns; an intriguing portrait of soft and sharp drawing made for a variety of interiors.
