In an important workshop the weaver has a drawing on paper millimeter, but he used usually a small carpet as a sample, with varous drawings handed down by his ancestors. he shows in his laboratory to the customers, to choose the design.
It's very rare for him to seoarate from it, that he passes on to his son.
Every carpet has its own history and tradition, its pattern and its colors.
This "vaghireh" is very fine, with multiple medallion, models, in refined pastel colors and the beautiful blue so sought after.
