This is a hand-knotted Sultanabad wool rug, masterfully woven in a traditional Persian revival style. Drawing inspiration from the famed early 20th-century carpets of Sultanabad, this piece features a bold central medallion flanked by a meticulously symmetrical layout of stylized floral motifs, angular vines, palmettes, and geometric shrubs. The rich rust Red field is anchored by a striking navy blue border adorned with rosettes, lotus motifs, and serrated leaves, with colors of ivory, camel, and burnt orange, bringing historic grandeur to the forefront of any interior.
