About the Item

This rich red wool area rug is a fine example of the Ziegler design. Woven by hand in the early 21st century in Pakistan. The design has been woven with a traditional deep red background and cream accents that make up the decorative floral pattern which a subtle repeating pattern border has then framed. The colour palette and design in this area rug are traditional to the Ziegler rug, one of the more popular designs with the western market. This piece is in excellent condition, ready for use in any home or office environment. Traditional Ziegler carpet rug handwoven floral wool red area rug. Measures: 124 x 187cm This Ziegler rug was constructed with only the finest hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. Master weavers employ traditional techniques in the construction, creating highly durable carpets that are sure to last for decades if cared for correctly.
