An unusual mid 20th century Central Asian Khotan rug with an interesting all-over tree-of-life pattern woven in gold and dark brown wool, on a fantastic pink background. The border is composed of four distinct patterns. The widest is a playful quatrefoil leaf pattern flanked by an outer petite geometric border and an inner border containing a geometric floral pattern, all woven in similar pinks, golds, and dark browns.
