This kenare (runner) is an example of recent Afghan work, here in a Caucasian/Northwest Persian geometric style with eight cartouches aligned on a straw field. Touches of royal blue, cream and light-medium brown. Cream border with floating lozenges with attached Vees. Wool foundation.Moderate weave.
