Displaying Mid-Century Modern style and nomadic tribal vibes, this vintage hand-knotted wool vintage Afghan carpet runner is an amalgam of nomadic charm and nomadic influence. It features three large-scale medallions patterned with an array of ancient Afghani motifs. The dark colored field is also covered in culturally significant symbols. The Afghan hallway runner is enclosed with a thin rectilinear border flanked with inner and outer subsidiary cubed square guard bands. Embodying Mid-Century Modern style with tribal elements from the past, this vintage Afghan carpet runner is undeniably magnificent in its complexity.
