This oriental Afghan rug was made in Afghanistan during the 1970s. This rug is dyed in shades of red and turquoise. An Afghan rug is a type of traditional hand-woven rug that comes from Afghanistan. Typical motifs include Gul, floral symbols and various forms of rhombuses, octagons and stars.
