A wonderful early 20th century Central Asian Khotan rug with a beautiful all-over partern with alternating floral, leaf and endless-knot motifs, woven in rich crimson, gold, pink and green vegetable dyed wool, on a pale indigo background. The border is exceptional with a thin geometric band with stylized floral and leaf patterns, flanked by two matching floral and leaf patterns, one on a crimson background and the other on a natural wool colored background.
