Yellow Suzani from Samarkand, Uzbekistan, 1960s-1970s

The Suzani has an unusual color palette and has a Russian print lining.

The embroidery does not have a lining. ( A lining could be put upon request.) It has very fine embroidery for its age group and the design is calm and unusual.  

It is unusual with its bold design and smaller size. This group of Samarkand suzanis tend to be either very large or very small, this is in between.

It is all cotton and finely embroidered.
