Antique Peking Chinese Allover Floral Ivory 1930s Rug, Circa Date: 1930s. This exquisite example of early 20th-century Chinese weaving presents a delicate balance of traditional motifs and the emerging Art Deco aesthetic. The expansive field is rendered in a soft, luminous ivory color, providing a perfect backdrop for the scattered botanical elements.
The allover pattern features stylized, detached leaves and blossoms, executed in contrasting shades of deep indigo and pale turquoise.
