About the Item
This antique carpet is hand knotted in China circa 1910. Known as mainland Chinese these carpets were made with high quality wool and all organic dyes, which makes them really age well and develop a nice patina.
Having a tan/brown field with indigo blue border this carpet would work with any setting .The field is beautifully drawn and the simple motifs are well spaced. There are no restorations on this carpet and the rug is in excellent condition. Measures: 9' x 12'.
