About the Item

Antique Chinese Baotou indigo rug, circa 1900. The central field with an intricate lattice work of Traditional Gau (Amulet) design in two shades of blue and white. The main border is a swastika lattice work pattern, handwoven in wool with long soft pile. There are some central areas with light brown staining, otherwise in excellent condition, approximately 93"-inches long x 60"-inches wide. Condition noted.
