This antique Khotan runner has a mole-brown field with a buff-brown vase at each end issuing an angular vine with bold pomegranates and floral sprays, inner zig-zag buff-brown stripe, in a mole-brown hooked panel border between plain mole-brown narrow stripes. Antique Khotan rugs are exquisite handwoven textiles originating from the ancient city of Khotan, located along the Silk Road in what is now the Xinjiang region of China.
