This authentic antique Mongolian pillar rug features a powerful five-clawed Imperial dragon (Long) soaring through a deep indigo field. Hand-knotted from high-quality wool, the composition is rich with traditional Buddhist and Taoist symbolism: A dynamic golden dragon chases the "Flaming Pearl of Wisdom," representing power, good fortune, and the pursuit of enlightenment. Colors: Natural indigo and vegetable-based yellows and madder reds.
