This is a multiply peach-toned Peking interwar carpet in a cartouche-shaped field with knots, leaves and palmettes, framed by a border containing paired feng-huang birds (phoenixes) and more knots and leaves. Semi-tone-on-tone palette, all-over outline carving intact. Soft colors, great boudoir rug. Fette Beijing factory. Good condition.
