1920s Chinese Art Deco Carpet ( 8'10" x 11'6" - 270 x 350 )
The delicate rose-pink cartouche-shaped field shows a giant lotus, rosette and leafy branch motif at one end, flanked by different porcelain pots sprouting similar flowers, while at the opposite end are two, also similar, floral bouquets. Note the clear yellow details in the border and field flowers. A perfect boudoir carpet. Light and airy.
