A beautiful vintage dragon pillar rug, hand knotted using finest Tibetan highland wool.
Very soft and dense pile - just like walking on clouds.
Construction: Hand knotted with finest wool pile and carved design.
About pillar or column rugs:
Peculiar to China are pillar carpets, designed so that when they are wrapped around a pillar the edges will fit together to form a continuous design, usually a coiling dragon.
The listed item is a vintage object, but we can reproduce rugs in this style in any size and color, hand-knotted and in many material combinations.
The feel is soft and cozy thanks to the use of the finest material. The rug is approx. 3/4 inch high.
Bespoke orders welcome. We can supply this rug as a reproduction in sizes up to 30 x 20 ft upon customers order. Colors can be adjusted at clients demand. Production time will depend on ordered size.
Interior designers and architects are welcome to have this rug custom made in any size and color combination from 1200 different shades. We work with Pantone and RAL color systems.
Other color combinations are possible. Goes great with Art Deco or Hollywood Regency interior design, but will be an eye catcher in any room, no matter if it is a living room, dining room or bedroom. Interior designers welcome.
