This antique Khotan rug has a light green field with an overall design of aubergine-purple interlocking lattice-weave, enclosed by a double band of ivory and pale red stripes with chocolate-brown, aubergine-purple and soft grey T-shaped lozenges form a square, a similarly colored cloud motif and zigzag paneled border, plain outer sandy-yellow broad stripe.
