This hand-woven, antique wool Turkestan Rug has a faded aubergine field with hooked floral motifs, open stylized flowerheads, cloud motifs and vases around a central lozenge medallion containing a flowerhead, the charcoal-brown open stepped spandrels in each corner, in a sandy-yellow border of angular serrated leaf vine linking stylized flowerheads between plain stripes, outer key-pattern panel stripe.
